Overview

Progressing Ballet Technique is a revolutionary body-conditioning program that improves understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment whilst, enhances overall technique. The PBT Training program is aimed at teachers and students of dance and athletics to help them understand and develop their muscle memory in relation to techniques of dance whilst, exercises developed to help reduce stress on the body, build muscle, prevent injuries and aid in rehabilitation. PBT comprises of non-weight baring exercises that specifically target movements within dance and trains the muscle memory to transfer into dance class & performance. PBT also shows students' how to practice safe dance techniques and will build strength to prevent common injuries. The program created by Marie Walton-Mahon is now being taught in over 3,500 schools worldwide and has been endorsed by renowned individuals such as David McAllister (Artistic Director of the Australian Ballet) and Li Cunxin (Artistic Director of the Queensland Ballet).
