This enables a more individualized approach in teaching and it facilitates students' learning of the subject matter. Desks in the classrooms are positioned in a form of a semicircle, thus enabling optimal cooperation of pupils and professors, making at the same time the implementation of modern teaching methods and mentorship much easier. The School has a 14-year-old tradition and a well-established and successful national and international partnership which includes Business English Courses in Oxford, UK, German courses in Lindenberg, Germany, and activities performed during the International Education Week together with the students and teachers from the partner schools. The School is a partner school with the economic schools from Celje (Slovenia), Verona (Italy), Pecs (Hungary), Regensburg (Germany) and Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina). During the course of their second year, the students spend two weeks in St. Joseph's King's School Oxford (UK) improving and developing their English language skills. The students get their certificates upon the completion of the course and the grades and credits which they obtain there become the intrinsic part of their regular English class evaluation card in the School. The same principle applies to the German language courses held for the third grade students in Lindenberg, Germany. Other international projects which were successfully carried out during the previous year include "Ecological Footprint" and "Creative Thinking", the purpose of which was to bring students' work into focus and give them opportunity to learn how to cooperate and work in international environment. They include another project as well, called Leonardo da Vinci Mobility programme which was carried out together with Economic school Regensburg in 2009.
