Privacy, Inc. was a privately held corporation based in Dallas, Texas, and a leader in online fraud prevention technology serving global enterprises, internet service providers and government organizations. Its principal product, OPAQUE(tm), incorporated patented software technology to block or flag virtually 100% of fraudulent email. Following consolidation/acquisition of related and/or affiliated entities Privacy Infrastructure, Inc. and Demand Engine, Inc. in 2005, Privacy, Inc. was acquired by its majority private equity investor.
