Overview

Company Profile Prime Sunshine CBD was founded in 2014 in Charlotte, NC by early Pioneer Ellen Tacher, the first woman owned CBD Brand in the United States who was looking for alternatives to opioids following a tragic dog attack leaving both her and her dog Enzo disabled. Together with global scientists, business minds and thought leaders Prime Sunshine’s integrative approach to sustainable farming and production practices have led the way in reducing the carbon footprint while delivering hemp products we believe to be far superior than any other hemp-derived CBD product on the market. A Good Product is More Than Packaging It Takes The Best Seed, Perfect Growing Conditions & Fertile Soil to make the best products naturally and organically the way nature intended : Prime Sunshine’s Plants are Full-Term Sun and Earth Grown (most commercial brands grow indoors from clones into plastic bags). Our Farm uses the sun instead of high-powered synthetic lights to grow, reducing the carbon footprint and the need for fossil fuels.. CUTTING EDGE EXTRACTION Our dual-process, cold extraction method is unique in the industry. It preserves and concentrates the widest range of bioactive cannabis compounds including terpenes, flavonoids, and the full spectrum of cannabinoids, and cannabinoid acids Prime Sunshine plants are grown from “Victoria", an internationally pedigreed certified proprietary seed brought over to the United States in the early 1800s on a steamship from England. In 1937 after federal marshals shut down farm operations, the “Victoria” was vaulted and hidden away in a secret location after farmhands gathered the heirloom seed and smuggled them by horseback into Canada where they were hidden away during prohibition and returned back to our farm after the first farm bill passed (our farm president co-authored and participated in it’s the creation) --to the seed's rightful owners -- 81 years later.
