"We wanted to create a traditional city marathon on par with those in New York, Berlin or London. In addition to the full marathon, we wanted to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among people of all ages, interests and occupations. We have prepared a number of non-competitive short-distance runs for those who are not yet ready to run the marathon or the half marathon," Carlo Capalbo, president of PIM.
