POLYFORM, s. r. o., started its activity in 1993 in Podolínec in the High Tatras region of Slovakia as a company specialising in the production and sale of thermal and sound insulation from expanded polystyrene (EPS) for the construction industry. It gradually added to its activities the production of packaging and fittings from EPS (2001), the VARIANT HAUS construction system for the construction of low-energy and passive houses and buildings (2010), and the operation of equipment for the recovery of EPS waste (2010). Since January 2006, the company has been a member of the HIRSCH Servo Group, which is one of the world leaders in EPS processing and the production of technological equipment for EPS processing. Currently, the company employs more than 80 employees in its two main segments, EPS Insulation and EPS Packaging, in two production plants.
