Overview

The Pioneers Treatment Company was established in 2018 by Dr. Mohammad Kurdi (Consultant Interventional Cardiology). Dr. Kurdi worked since his early days in different hospitals and institutions. He graduated from King Saud University and joined the RAFH, where he was awarded as best trainee. In 1995, King Khaled University Hospital (KKUH) gave him a scholarship to Canada where he worked and studied for 3 years at Dalhousie University. He finished internal medicine training and was awarded as best teacher for undergraduate students. He joined Ottawa Heart Institute for cardiology and intervention cardiology, and was voted be the chief cardiology fellow (the first non-Canadian). In 2003, he returned to KSA where he joined KKUH as a teaching staff and consultant interventional cardiologist. During the time at the university, he was appointed as course and programs director, and head of cardiac catheterization laboratory. In 2006, he moved to King Fahad Medical City where he was one of the founders for the King Salman Heart Center and served as Chairman of Cardiology for 3 years. In 2010, he moved back to KKUH and worked as part-time consultant with Kingdom Hospital where he founded the cardiac interventional services and the cardiac intensive care. In 2012, he joined Al-Habib Medical Group as Director of Cardiac Department at Al-Takhassusi hospital and established the entire cardiac services for more than 220 beds hospital. Dr. Kurdi learned tremendously through his journey with different institutions and decided to establish his own practice where he can deliver the best care available with highest standards, bridging the gaps he identified during his journey in patient care.
