Overview

The 1906 Pine Crest Inn is a relaxing, intimate country inn that captivated & inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald & Ernest Hemingway. Located on 10 beautifully landscaped acres near Asheville & the Blue Ridge Parkway, this English-style country inn offers 30 charming rooms, luxurious suites and private cottages, most with fireplaces and all with private baths. It was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1982. The inn's restaurant, Carter's Tavern & Wine Cellar, features casual fine dining with regional accents & organic ingredients. The 3-course breakfast was twice named “Best in the Southeast.” The outstanding cuisine is complimented by a wine list afforded the Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence designation. Carter's also offer over 30 craft beers, many from within 60 miles of the inn, as well as a large selection of spirits.
