Picture Perfect Mind's mission is to help people to understand that the way they think is directly linked to the way they feel. And the way we feel impacts the way we live and work. I strive to help people to feel better on a regular basis. My services include one-on-one wellness coaching, presentations, workshops, and online classes. I strive to work with businesses and organizations to identify their specific goals and customize workshops and coaching services. An article in the Buffalo News stated that Western New York is one of the unhealthiest regions in NYS. And since about 90 percent of chronic disease is linked to stress, this leads me to believe that we have a stress problem in WNY. As a trained health coach, I provide a variety of stress reduction and thought management tools to professionals to reduce stress despite what’s happening in our external environments. I like to call these our daily “vacation moments”. When we take a few minutes to pay attention to our present moment we create a reduction in overall stress and tension, allowing ourselves to feel refreshed and nurtured to return to our work. Research has indicated that mindfulness practices not only increase overall health and well being, but have increased worker’s productivity and reduced employer’s costs. In addition to mindfulness practices, thought management tools are essential to provide clarity on purposefully selecting our thoughts. Practicing intentional thinking is the key to motivation, focus, and overall success.
