Overview

PIAZZA (Piazza dell'Arte vzw) is a mobile, multidisciplinary, educational art organization, established from the conviction that every youngster, regardless of his or her background, should receive the same opportunities to develop their creative talents. In the field, PIAZZA attempts to ease the step towards art by setting up artistic experiments with both young people and professional artists. PIAZZA sets up its art-labs in different surroundings: whether it be in schools and suburbs or in museums, youth clubs and cultural centres. There, challenged by professional artists, youngsters take over in the ateliers Monumental Art, Graphic Design, Costume Design, Mixed Media, Video, Photography, Animation, Social Media, Theatre, Dance, Soundlab, Performance, Slam Poetry and Text Lab.
