Overview

Łukasiewicz – PIAP Institute is focused on the new industrial technologies implementation, systems for automation, production plant and measuring equipment in various branches of industry. Over fifty years of cooperation with industry have brought a series of new designs and significant implementations. At present, PIAP activities are focused in the following fields: 1. automation and robotization of production processes (see http://przemysl.piap.pl/), 2. automation of transport between operation stands, 3. quality control systems with use of video technique, 4. mobile robots used for special purposes (see http://www.antiterrorism.eu/), 5. industrial measurement systems, 6. measuring and inspection equipment, 7. R&D for companies, 8. rapid prototyping (see http://design.piap.pl/). PIAP is also the first and biggest producer of high quality mobile robots for counter-terrorism applications in Poland. PIAP Institute's vast experience and wide network of partners allow to create and implement complex system solutions in the security area. PIAP Institute delivers its solutions in robotics to army, police, fire brigades, other forces responsible for public security, crisis management and civil protection. Our robots are present in 20 countries in 4 continents. Łukasiewicz - PIAP Institute has recently set up a PIAP Space Ltd. (http://www.piap-space.com/) - a spin off company in space sector delivering solutions for space robotics and MGSE. PIAP has implemented an international quality standards - ISO 9001:2009, AQAP 2110:2009 and national Export Control System. The Institute is certified with Industrial Security Clearance of First Class and handles EU SECRET and NATO SECRET classified materials. PIAP is a state research institute and not a "public company", but LinkedIn does not have proper company type.
