Overview
Perspectives Charter Schools is a network of five open-enrollment middle and high schools committed to teaching a rigorous college-prep curriculum. At Perspectives, we educate the student beyond the classroom to succeed in college and in life while empowering our teachers through a unique education model. Perspectives' award-winning teachers have received countless accolades, including the Shell Urban Science Educator Award, presented by the National Science Teacher's Association. We support our teachers with the opportunity to grow through training and professional development to complement their career goals. Our education model — A Disciplined Life® (ADL) — has a curriculum that focuses on social-emotional learning, academia, and character building. Using this model, our teachers guide student behavior and performance, helping them to develop positive self-perception, healthy relationships, and the tools for productivity. The ADL model produces impressive results with 92% college acceptance rate, students earning over $20 Million in scholarships annually, and persisting in college at rates above the national average. All five of Perspectives Charter Schools earned level 1/1+ rankings from Chicago Public Schools. These are the highest possible rankings — made possible by Perspectives' committed and talented staff.
