Overview

Percept is a collective of like-minded, like-hearted people who come together to work collaboratively in service of a vision of a healthier and more resilient world. This work requires a deep understanding of the structures and forces behind a painfully inequitable, impoverished and dehumanised society. It also requires the courage to speak truthfully and to think radically. The Percept community includes our clients, those people who work in partnership with us: change-makers, outlaws and seekers of ingenious solutions to intractable problems. Our clients are the bold innovators, the heart-led donors and NGOs, the pockets of fearless leadership in governments, and the visionaries inside large corporations because it takes a diversity of efforts to bring about new ways of being and doing. Percept brings balance to a world that is out of kilter through work that is driven by curiosity, by rigour and by evidence, and that is widely inclusive of different disciplinary lenses and the voices of end-clients, particularly the oppressed and marginalised. The word Percept describes the process of fully experiencing the world: those rare moments when our sensory experiences (including thought) harmonise with each other. The multi-dimensional nature of that perception, that goes beyond the superficial, accords with our transdisciplinary approach and our appreciation of diversity. We deliver solutions that seamlessly thread together an array of skills and perspectives.
