Overview

The Permian Basin Geophysical Society is a nonprofit organization directed by its membership to promote the science of geophysics in the Permian Basin. In addition, the Society exists to promote education, cooperation, and social fellowship to those persons interested in geophysical exploration and its applications. The PBGS hosts numerous events throughout the year that are focused on educational and social opportunities. These events include our Monthly Speaker Luncheons, the annual Doodlebug Open Golf Tournament, Picnic at the Ballpark, Annual Exploration Meeting and much more.
