Overview
Our Vision: Resilient Children. Strong Families. Connected Communities. The Pathways to Resilience Trust (the “Trust”) is a charitable organisation established in August 2007 in Brisbane, Australia. Through social and emotional learning and resilience skills development we aim to prevent anxiety, depression and suicide in children, young people and families. We work across the lifespan, but specifically work to strengthen at-risk groups by introducing a common language of wellbeing in schools and communities. We use a strengths based community development model to work within communities of low-socioeconomic status; culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander; in rural, regional and remote areas, including those affected by drought and natural disasters. We offer a range of evidence-based programs, professional development, webinars, parent and family sessions, personal wellbeing programs and coaching and mentoring for educators and other professionals working within a range of services and companies. The Trust currently operates out of its headquarters in Springwood and is governed by a board of trustees.
