Overview
Founded by concerned parents and professionals, Pathway to Possible has served individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families since 1972. At the time, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities were being released from state institutions to community settings. Individuals who had grown up in their family homes were also in need of services. Over more than 45 years of operation, Pathway to Possible has earned a reputation for treating each individual and family with respect and for providing services and programs that embody the best practices in the field. Pathway to Possible is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and has an elected board of directors that includes individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, family members, and members of the wider community.
