Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre Inc. is a Community House situated in Park Orchards Victoria that delivers community services to the local community including Community Programs (Fitness, Art, Children Classes, Language and special interest), an occasional care provider for local children and an ACFE and Skills First Funded Learn local Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 4008) and in an average year we offer approximately 3000 course hours and 26000 student contact hours. These hours are for courses only and do not account for the other operations of the house, which include childcare, referrals, outreach, community support and development. Community Programs include: Art Classes, Belly Dancing, Yoga, Fitness, Language classes, Childrens Cartooning, Community Book Club, Community Craft Club, Community garden and first aid. Nationally recognised Courses delivered by RTO code 4008 TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support The Committee of Management are volunteers with various skills and they are the employer who employ six permanent part-time staff, a Manager, Assistant Manager, VET Co-ordinator, Program Co-ordinator, financial officer, Receptionist, and Childcare Co-ordinator. Childcare workers, are employed on a casual basis, tutors and a cleaner are employed as sub-contractors.
