Overview

Established in 1991, Pantech is South Korean company that has been a leading manufacturer of mobile phones. Pantech regularly challenged the dominance of Samsung and LG in the Korean wireless marketplace and was the second best-selling Korean handset maker in 2012. Outside of Korea, Pantech enjoyed success with partners in the United States, Japan, China, Europe and Vietnam. While its smartphone business has been suspended, Pantech is currently involved with developing new cutting-edge technology in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
