The Padang & Co story started with Singapore’s first major public hackathon, UP Singapore, in 2012. Padang means green, open field in Malay. We are champions for Open Innovation, bringing people together, and creating the occasions and environments for their creativity to flourish and innovation to emerge. It is also the name of an important historical landmark in the heart of the civic quarter of Singapore, where Padang & Co is headquartered.
