With PackGreenly we advocate sustainable ecofriendly packaging. Share new trends and development in making packaging more ecofriendly and sustainable. According to estimates provided in 2015, over 77.9 million tons of packaging waste is produced every year. When analyzed alongside total waste, packaging is responsible for half of global waste annually. At least 344 species are entangled by packaging waste, specifically the ones that are plastics. Most of the victims are marine species like whales, seabirds, turtles, and fish. Furthermore, the rate of plastic wastage is growing at a rate of 9% every year. Through PackGreenly we share possible solutions to reducing packaging waste. Solutions which are easy and could start with minimization of plastic packaging material ranging up to a zero waste or biodegradable waste strategy . Effective ways to help reduce packaging pollution include banning the use of single-use plastics, more social awareness and education, promotion of eco-friendly alternatives, public pressure, voluntary cleaning up, and adopting reusable or biodegradable packaging.
