Overview

We are the heart and the hub of Pacific Oaks. We align the scholarship and knowledge of our college and children’s school to support the work of our community partners, and we bring our partners' resources to serve our students' needs. Our director, Geoff Albert, says that “Our center at Pacific Oaks College serves as a social change hub concentrated on identifying and eliminating systemic inequities and advancing effective and lasting change.” Even being involved throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been able to identify inequities and see our community members' resiliency through their positive potential. We value a strengths-based approach, as we can see how one’s strengths can develop positively over time with a robust support system around them.
