Born from a desire to supply sustainable, quality plant stock, we employ a range of techniques to provide a greener service including introducing biodegradable paper packaging in place of plastic pots and bags in propagation. Located in Northern New South Wales with an average rainfall of 1800mm per year, Pacific Nurseries reduces water consumption by harnessing the natural climate for optimal growth potential. We grow tubestock native grasses and tree species using seed stock local to the project locations or from the project themselves before clearing to preserve biodiversity. Pacific Nurseries has worked with the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia to review our products and procedures against the IC Rating Scheme to help our clients achieve sustainability credits and meet nationally recognised standards.
