Overview
Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) - Toronto Chapter was the first chapter in Canada, founded in 1999. We are part of an international organization, with 22 chapters in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. We provide women with networking and educational opportunities. We advocate for women's economic empowerment through diversification of international trade and gender inclusion in free trade agreements. For 20 years, OWIT-Toronto has been a trusted resource for the Greater Toronto Area, providing programs, training and education in global trade to trade professionals. As an active force in the international trade community, OWIT-Toronto works to expand business skills and public awareness of international trade issues. OWIT-Toronto is an affiliate chapter of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), with member chapters in cities worldwide, in North and South America, Africa, Europe and Asia. Mission: To foster a collaborative environment on global trade best practices through our timely and relevant programs.
