Overview

We are the Colorado School of Mine’s Senior Design Team participating in the Colorado School of Mines and Lockheed Martin’s all new Over the Dusty Moon Competition. This new competition is looking into long-distance, high-volume transportation of lunar regolith over horizontal sections of the Moon. This transportation system will help the processing of in-site lunar materials processing by transporting lunar regolith from lunar quarry to lunar processing plants. This competition will also investigate the issue of operating mechanical devices in the harsh lunar environment.
