Research Services

Overview

In the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, We Are Creating New Possibilities. Just like John Glenn would have wanted us to as a US Senator, Astronaut, and Engineer. We tackle interdisciplinary education and research differently. OSU Battelle Center is dedicated to preparing the future and current workforce with the skills needed to work across disciplines and domains to act, lead, and innovate in the public interest. Our world is global, dynamic, complex, and competitive — people need more than a degree to thrive, adapt, and be life-long contributors. Moreover, societies’ problems are complex and multi-faceted — solving them requires people with an innovator’s mindset and fluency in the public policy process. These essential skills may not be acquired easily in the confines of a classroom: - Understanding Context surrounding an industry - Applied Critical thinking - Communication - Collaboration - Creativity - Cultural Competence - Character Development Battelle Center’s unique program manages for these outcomes.
