Orion Oil and Shipping Limited, a member company of Orion Group (www.orion-group.net), recognized as one of the leading Industrial conglomerates in the country, presently engaged in Power & Energy Sector, Infrastructure Development, Pharma & Healthcare, Cosmetics & Toiletries, Real Estate & Construction, High-tech Agro Products, Export Oriented Fish Processing Plant, Tea Garden and Tea processing Unit, Textile & Garments, Food & Restaurant chain and Home Appliance Sectors. OOSL has obtained permission from BPDP and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource for engaging the trading and import of HFO for the respective allied concerns. Primarily, the company is the nominated supplier for the aforementioned companies. In this regard, legal document with three aforementioned companies and relevant authorization have been complied. Electricity is one of the prime focus of the present government and Orion Oil & Shipping Ltd exists to supply the fuel for the power plants for uninterrupted supply of electricity. Orion Oil & Shipping Ltd has acquired an ocean going oil tanker named “Orion Express” built in the year July 1999, having a Deadweight tonnage of 35,407, length of 184 meters and 11.016 Meter draft for the smooth operation of the existing three power plants.
