The foundation of OptoGenTech GmbH is based on research work at the Göttingen University Medical Center, the German Primate Center in Göttingen, the University of Freiburg and the Chemnitz University of Technology as well as the seed funding of Photonik Inkubator GmbH Göttingen. The focus of OptoGenTech GmbH is the development, production and marketing of optogenetic multichannel stimulators for biomedical research and clinical application, as well as systems for the assessment of animal behavior in biomedical research.
