Overview

Open Inductions will be working on developing (open induction) motors to incorporate the use of induction motors that will be powered by electric generators to reduce fuel consumption in commercial aviation. However, unlike the existing companies that are trying to make new hybrid aircrafts, Open Inductions (OI) is developing retrofittable engine that could be used with the available commercial aircrafts. This new technology would allow a significant reduction in fuel usage for commercial aviation. As a result of this, it will increase flight range and fuel reduce consumption.
