Overview

Discover Open Data Playground, the hackathon and data challenge platform to solve real business and corporate social responsibility problems and train your analytical skills on real datasets. At Open Data Playground you can not only train your skills on real datasets, but you can find your next professional opportunity. The platform is a springboard as well as a real gym to develop the professional and personal career of its players: to have fun, improve their skills, network and actively participate in solving real business and social welfare problems. Open Data Playground is an incubator and accelerator of ideas: all we need is your contribution! Open Data Playground was developed as a response to the market's continuous need to research, engage and evaluate Digital, STEM and Innovation competencies in a new way, but at the same time concrete and skill-based: making it possible to involve and enable a community of highly specialized experts through gamification and digital engagement systems, in order to solve data problems and test their skills. We started with STEM profile empowerment, and today we are looking for Digital, STEM and Innovation profiles, involving the humanities and the sciences. Open Data Playground is an innovative platform but it already has a solid network behind it. In fact, a beta version was developed and launched in 2019 and it hosted recruitment competitions, hackathons and graduate programs, involving more than 500 players and about 30 sponsors.
