Odessa Maritime Training Centre (OMTC) offers a wide range of courses for professional seafarers and shipping companies. Our course participants study on different courses both on STCW training and tailored courses for shipping companies. OMTC provides a diversified training portfolio, including basic and advanced ice navigation training according to the Polar Code, as well as ice navigation training for Baltic ice conditions including ship handling in ice, DP induction, advanced and revalidation, Bridge Resource Management, Enclosed Space & Work at Height Rescue and many others. In order to be able to offer a wide range of courses and satisfy the requirements of our clients, we have a large network of experts on diverse fields within seafaring, able to teach a large variety of courses. The simulation resources of OMTC consist of 3 full mission simulator bridges, desktop simulators, engine room simulators, Kongsberg DP simulator, and radio simulator. We can offer training on FURUNO, SAM Electronics, SPERRY, Kelvin Huges, Maris Simrad and TRANSAS bridges in our simulator. With the simulator interface, we can generate technical faults to the real navigational instruments on the bridges. We have well-trained simulator instructors with a wide range of experience in shipping.
