Overview

Oklahoma Energy Producers Alliance (OEPA) is a group of Oklahoma oil and gas companies concerned with protecting our rights as conventional vertical producers at the State Capitol and the Corporation Commission. OEPA'S MISSION IS SIMPLE: As many of you know, for the past two legislative sessions HB2177 which would have allowed long laterals in all geologic formations, not just shale, did not become law, thanks to many of you, many of the OEPA leadership and our lobbyist, Greg Piatt. OEPA will concentrate on protecting vertical produced rights including, but not limited to: Support of legislation similar to HB2177, which includes our 63% amendment language, or Support of new modern legislation that fully addresses the issues of horizontal drilling through vertical units held by producing well(s).
