(1) HISTORY OHMURA CO.,LTD was established by Yoshiharu Omura( current president) in 2000. (2)STRATEGY FOR SALES OHMURA ‘s sales system is very simple and particular. We deliver the our own catalogue to the construction company directly, and the price on this catalogue is whole price. It was not common in those days, whole price was decided to the customer’s status. and in order to buy the tile, there are some steps between importer and whole saler , retailer,it means some company take their profit. Eventually the tile ‘s price was very high compare to the current price. Therefore ,when our company started the business, some suppliers in Japan were really astonished and upset to us, Because it was big revolution in the market of building material. Nowadays this way is nearly getting common, Some companies imitated our system, and they are expanding ,but we are the pioneer. Actually the number of customer which had transaction with us is more than25,000 companies since we established. (3) THE SYSTEM OF SALES (1) We make our own catalogue twice a year( J&J) and we deliver more than 300,000 companies, our customers. They are house builder, architect, construction company etc.(it means that almost all companies who needs tiles in Japan) Making the catalogue twice a year is very costly,but we can provide new items and introduce new trend. It contributes to give the imagination that OHMURA is progressive company to the market. (2) If the customer looked at our catalogue and had interest and hope to try it, they can get the sample for free. We pay the cost of sample and transportation. (3) We are whole saler. it means we don’t sell final consumer, (4) Our merchandise Our main merchandise is building material. It classfied as 4categories. 1,ceramic tile 2,natural stone 3,wall decoration( natural stone, artificial stone),brick 4.brick
