The Botswana Student Union UK & IRL is a student-run organisation that was founded in 2009 to serve as a conduit between the Botswana student community in the United Kingdom and Ireland and the Botswana High Commission. Our Mission 1)To advocate for effective student welfare measures which include but are not limited to mental health support systems and resources. 2) To host employability seminars for students in collaboration with seasoned cross-border guest speakers and corporations from all relevant vocational fields. These will aim to: •amplify the sharing of invaluable industry insight, advice, and promote the development of long-standing professional connections and mentors. •facilitate an open-minded approach to university, career, and industry selection, as well as a realignment of students' expectations throughout their educational stages to reality.
