Overview

Nuveen Real Asset Income and Growth Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to provide a high level of current income and long-term capital appreciation. It will invest approximately 80% of its managed assets in equity and debt securities issued by real asset related companies located around the world. Its debt securities may be rated lower than investment grade quality (BB+/Ba1 or lower); over 10% of the Fund's managed assets may be invested in debt securities rated CCC+/Caa1 or lower at any time. It invests approximately 25% and over 75% of its managed assets in securities of the non-United States issuers through the direct investment in securities of the non-United States companies and depository receipts. It invests in real asset-related companies across the capital structure, including common stocks, preferred securities and debt. Nuveen Fund Advisors, LLC is the advisor and Nuveen Asset Management, LLC is the sub advisor of the Fund.
