Founded in 1989 NRC Ltd (Northwest Radio Communications) provides radio communications solutions across the UK. NRC is a fast growing company powered by knowledgeable, professional account managers and expert engineers whose many years of experience maintaining equipment from all the leading manufacturers is a major benefit to our customers. Since 2011 NRC has manufactured and distributed their own brand of equipment now known as DigiX. The DigiX range of equipment proved popular across the UK for its reliability, cost competitiveness and features. We now produce a full range of our own products including Analogue licence free, Digital licence free, Professional Digital DMR radios and a comprehensive range of accessories for all models. NRC is not just about selling radios. We engineer radio communication solutions which combine our equipment with other technology to assist customers with a wide range of issues, from the management of alarms to providing a safer, more efficient working environments. Radio can be a strange phenomena. It will often work across a mountain landscape, with a range of up to 20km but is this very much reduced when the same radio is in an urban or industrial environment with concrete and steel around it.
