The Nox Cycles brand was launched in Berlin in 2004 out of the ambition to produce absolutely competitive gravity bikes equipped with only the best components and assemblies. Since 2016, Nox Cycles has focused entirely on the production and further development of high-quality e-mountain bikes and relocated the production site from Berlin to the middle of the Austrian Alps. By now, NOX clearly stands for: • High-quality and innovative e-mountain bikes • Many years of experience and unmistakable design • Highest quality and individuality • German design / built in Austria • Bikes by bikers for bikers With batteries fully and aesthetically integrated in the frame, NOX uses German quality drive systems. The bikes of the NOX HYBRID series are real power packs with a lot of range - equipped with powerful, quiet and sensitive Brose motors and 630 Wh batteries. With the HELIUM series, NOX entered a completely new area of light e-mountain bikes in 2019 and is one of the first manufacturers to build true all-rounders. HELIUM bikes ride with the light, compact Fazua drive, which can be completely removed from the carbon frame and converts the bike into a normal mountain bike in no time at all. In June 2020, NOX also brought another German drive manufacturer on board - with SACHS Micro Mobility and the 112 Nm strong SACHS RS, NOX is expanding its HYBRID product range with an even more powerful drive as an alternative to the popular and well-established Brose Drive S-Mag. Also in June 2020, the Helium series, inspired by the ultra-flexible Fazua evation drive, got an urban little sister with the NOX MeTROPOLIS: a stylish e-city bike that is also suitable for off-road use and which is used with the same - or even without - Fazua drive.
