Our aim is to create authentic, sustainable, contemporary architecture and interiors for design conscious, aspirational people and businesses seeking a uniquely personal, bespoke, healthy and ecological home or workplace. Novo Design Studios is owned and run by Scott Wardlaw, a professionally qualified Architect and certified Passive House Designer with over 25 years experience. Located just south of Edinburgh and Glasgow in the glorious Tweed Valley, Novo has been conceived as a design studio focused on assisting you to realise your dream home, by guiding you through our creative and collaborative process to deliver beautiful contemporary, sustainable homes and workplaces. Inspired by local context, materials, colour, and light, our design aesthetic can be considered restrained and contemporary, respectful of place and time. I love working with clients who share a deep respect for our natural world and recognise the value that a well designed, contemporary sustainable building can deliver.
