NotToScale Architecture (NTS) is an architectural and urban design studio. Not just a project team but an operative and creative platform able to make innovation with technical and consultancy proposals. NTS develops planning strategies based on a specialized research work focused on contemporary city, informal settlements, social and economic urban dynamics, sustainability, resilience and climate change adaptation. Innovative solutions based on urban data analysis, infographic mapping, participation processes and community engagement. NTS operates at different scales of project, from landscape to urban design, architecture and interior design. NTS is also specialized in graphic design projects, custom illustrations and complex infographics for data representation. The studio’s work is characterized by a particular experimental attitude: each project is approached following a particular research process with the aim of providing never conventional ideas and solutions. Great attention is paid to issues of social and environmental sustainability, new trends in urban development and application of innovative solutions in terms of planning and technology.
