Overview

We are journalists, marketing guys and artists. We are a team of futuristic space lovers. Clothing for Space Lovers, based on Noordung's illustrations and designs. Hermann Noordung was a Slovene rocket engineer and one of the pioneers of cosmonautics. He is mostly remembered for his work addressing the human habitation of space. He only published one book in his life: "The Problem of Space Travel - The Rocket Motor" (the original German title: Das Problem der Befahrung des Weltraums - der Raketen-Motor). The book was published in Berlin in 1928. Noordung passed away a year later. His book describes geostationary satellites and possibilities of communication between them and the ground using radio. The wheel-shaped space station served as an inspiration for "Space Station V" in Stanley Kubrick's cult film, "2001: A Space Odyssey". Noordung's ideas and drawings were a major inspiration for our line of shirts. The majority of designs is taken from his sole book - some are modified, some not. We do hope you like them!
