O NMATH – Núcleo de Estudantes de Matemática do Instituto Superior Técnico, da Universidade de Lisboa – é uma organização sem fins lucrativos constituída por alunos da LMAC (Licenciatura em Matemática Aplicada e Computação), MMA (Mestrado em Matemática Aplicada) e MECD (Mestrado em Engenharia e Ciência de Dados), com o objetivo de apoiar a comunidade estudantil de matemática do IST, promover a matemática no ensino secundário e no ensino superior, e os cursos de matemática do IST junto do mercado de trabalho. Esta associação organiza regularmente atividades focadas no desenvolvimento de soft skills, hard skills e de caráter lúdico, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento pessoal e científico da comunidade matemática, possuindo uma forte ligação com os alunos e com o Departamento de Matemática do IST. The NMATH - students association of mathematics (Núcleo de Estudantes de Matemática) of Instituto Superior Técnico , Lisbon University - is a non-profit organization composed by students from the LMAC (Applied Mathematic and Computer Science BSc), MMA (Applied Mathematics MSc) and MECD (Data Science and Engineering MSc) with the objective of supporting the math student community of the IST, promote mathematics at highschool and university, and the IST math courses in the labor market . This association regularly organizes activities focused on the development of soft skills , hard skills and of recreative nature , contributing to personal and scientific development of the mathematical community , having a strong connection with the students and with the Department of Mathematics of IST .
