DMAVA Overview: Under the direction of The Adjutant General of New Jersey, DMAVA is the Headquarters for the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard as well as the department responsible for state Veterans Services and programs. DMAVA FACILITIES: Headquartered in Lawrenceville, DMAVA maintains three state-of-the-art Veterans Memorial Homes at Paramus, Menlo Park and Vineland. The Department also manages a transitional housing program for homeless veterans at Veterans Haven North (Glen Gardner) and South (Winslow). Additionally, DMAVA oversees the busiest state Veterans cemetery in the nation, Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover.
