Founded in 1988,Ningbo economic&technical development zone Hengda Electrical Co., Ltd., a provincial hi-tech enterprise, is specialized in the R&D, manufacture and sales service of lighting fittings and solar energy PV module connectors. It is situated in the Beilun Dagang Industrial Town of Ningbo Development Zone which enjoys flourishing import and export trade, great traffic convenience as well as harbor advantages and covers an area of 15 mu (about 10,005 square meters) and building area of over 10,000 square meters with registered capital of 10 million US dollars. Relying on its experience for a dozen of years in lighting fitting production management and economic strength, it produces both a full variety of new energy-saving lighting fittings and solar energy PV module connectors. Its annual output of lighting fittings is over 80,000,000 pieces with product certifications of CQC, UL, VDE, CE, CSA, ROSH, etc. All of its products are up to the standard. Solar energy PV module industry grows rapidly along with the ever-worsening global energy shortage. Aiming at this industry, Hengda introduced talented personnel, advanced equipment and technology and began to research and develop solar energy PV module junction box and connector since 2004. Hengda had invested over five percent of its sales amount into the R&D of new products annually for the past four years and successfully developed more than ten varieties of solar energy PV module junction boxes and connectors. By estimate, it will produce more than 1.5 million sets of solar energy PV module connectors in 2008. Its products have been identified by German TUV testing and are up to the safety requirements of EU electric apparatus of the second category. Meanwhile, Hengda is concentrating on developing and promoting its proprietary brand, the “TOP,” which has won considerably domestic market share and a stable client base and been exported to the EU, Korea, Taiwan and other countries and regions.
