In mid-2018, the Swiss Federal Department of the Interior transferred the tasks of the National Agency for Cancer Registration (NACR) to the National Institute for Cancer Epidemiology and Registration (NICER). The NICER Foundation has already performed a large number of the tasks listed in the Cancer Registration Act (CRA) in the past and is the Swiss Competence Center for National Cancer Registry Data.
