NG appoints senior investment professionals to management positions in its portfolio companies. NG is led by Managing Partners Carlos Rodriguez-Pastor, Juan Carlos Vallejo and Augusto Rey, who have built a broad portfolio of leading companies in Peru over the last 15 years. Nexus Group has led investments in renowned Peruvian companies such as Cineplanet, Casa Andina and Peruplast. NG closed its first institutional fund, NG Capital Partners I, L.P., on May 2011 with aggregate commitments of $320 million, now fully invested. The current portfolio of Fund I includes participations in: NG Restaurants (which includes six restaurant chains), Promart (home improvement company), and UTP (higher education company). Its second institutional fund, NG Capital Partners II, L.P., held its final closing on April 2013 with aggregate commitments of $600 million, and it is also fully invested. To date, the Fund is invested in Grupo SMI (packaging company), Zegel IPAE (technical institute), Innova Schools (K-12 schools), UTP, Financiera Oh!, La Tinka and Inretail Peru.
