We are supporting entrepreneurs in their quest for a steady business model, allowing growth in China and beyond. We partner with the underdogs we believe in, and give them access to a strong ecosystem, bring hands-on support, and arrange strategic introduction... but sometimes, this is not enough. And for this reason, we also bring investors and entrepreneurs together in order to help them get to the next step. We know what it’s like to be in the founder’s shoes. We have helped to build a dozen of businesses and co-founded a few ourselves over the past 10+ years we have spent in China. To date, NextStep also helped to raise over 20 Million RMB and is managing 4 projects (all Entertainment / F&B / FoodTech related and working with each other) which are part of the studio. NextStep uses this network as part of our commitment to helping our portfolio companies grow their business, so our operating teams provide founders with access to expertise and insights across the entire spectrum of company building. At NextStep, founders can : - Find the most suitable service provider, fitting their specific context. Identify qualified members to join your board of advisors and create the rules of engagement. - Use NextStep resources for back office backup in order to create strong foundations in their admin, accounting, HR, financial, training, PR, coaching… until founders need more. - Book office hours with NextStep founder and find support, brainstorm, and ideas. - Request a meeting with anyone from NextStep network. - Arrange meetings, when ready, with the best investors fitting their stage, size, and needs. Our business model is simple: % equity shares +/- retainer depending on the needs. Success fees based on a percentage in convertible notes for fundraising or strategic partnership.
