The University of Newcastle (UoN) is in proximity of Australia’s most beautiful beaches and the exciting and famous Outback. The UoN is one of Australia’s best universities located in a breath-taking environment where your student experience will be unforgettable. NUSA is the cherry on top : it is the only fully independent student organization open to all students and run by students. With more than 57 clubs, and 5,000 members from more than 30 countries, we offer a unique opportunity to enrich your life. Spice up your time by attending one of our amazing courses and have a free all day breakfast. Come into the NUSA building and hang out with people from all parts of Australia and the world, and get actively involved with us. Friction with the university? We stand on your side and understand that a conflict with one of the largest institutions of the city can be intimidating. Just send an email to our office or come and see NUSA directly; we helped many students over the years. Knowing that students have very small budgets we provide free breakfast all day long! We also offer free BBQs with high quality halal sausages and vegetarian lunches. For just $20 a week, get your shot of healthy fruits and veggies, fresh from the market (order anytime until Tuesday 5.30pm, pick up Thursday or Friday) Courses can be affordable! With our vast and always expanding course offers, we want to give you the chance to learn job and life skills. Languages, mathematics, first-aid and many other courses allow you to pursue whatever goal you have. Are you skilled in a particular area and want to pass it on?
