The Menzies Research Centre is the think tank of the Liberal Party of Australia. We conduct research and campaigns, publish books and host events that advocate and celebrate the institutions that have made Australia one of the most free and prosperous nations in the world. We adhere to the principles of freedom, individual rights and enterprise espoused by Robert Menzies on founding the Liberal Party. Through our research, we seek good governance for all Australians, which encourages independence, innovation and reward for effort while maintaining the institutions of family and community. While the most progressive and prosperous society is one propelled by individual effort, the happiest society is one that also rallies around common values and mutual obligations. We owe those who helped build this great nation to pass it and its enormous fortune on to future generations.
