Overview

For more than 60 years, APICS New York City Long Island has long served the Supply Chain and Operations Management professional community with education and networking opportunities. In the fall of 2020, APICS merged with ASCM, Association of Supply Chain Management. As a chartered New York State non-profit company serving the 5 boroughs of New York City and the Long Island Counties of Nassau and Suffolk, ASCM New York - Long Island Forum will continue serving as a professional society providing educational and networking opportunities for professionals in and students of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. As an educational society, we offer courses supporting the two main APICS International certification programs, the CPIM which stands for Certified in Production and Inventory Management, and CSCP which stands for Certified Supply Chain Professional. Networking opportunities are provided through dinner meetings alternately held between New York City and Long Island as well as plant tours of local companies.
