Overview

Established in 1991 in Kyiv, New Life Center (official original name: Культурно-просвітницький центр "Нове життя" – Kulturno-Prosvitnytskiy Tsentr Nove Zhuttya) became one of the first charitable organizations in the country to bring change and hope in a Post-Soviet context in Ukraine. New Life is actively involved in social help and social transformations, it develops and implements educational programs to prevent addictions among children, teenagers and youth, organizes summer camps, sports events, reaches out to the people with cerebral palsy, supplies medical equipment to local hospitals, feeds the underprivileged people in city communities, helps the elderly, trains and assists chaplains and social workers to work in the contexts of anti-terrorist operations, military actions, and work among civilians. New Life also provides Counseling and Soul Care, helps the refugees/internally displaced people, and provides other help to give people hope and restoration. The organization is par excellence supported by Kyiv's New Life Evangelical Church, and has long-term partnerships with local and global charitable funds, organizations, individuals, hundreds of volunteers, a vast network of international partnerships with such countries as Finland, Norway, Sweden, USA and other.
