Our mission is to steward donors’ charitable giving, now and for generations to come, and to provide leadership, vision and impactful community investment. The Nevada Community Foundation was incorporated in 1988. Since that time, NCF has helped hundreds of donors find their charitable passion, fulfill their philanthropic dreams, and make a lasting impact in our community, providing over $85 million in lifetime grants. Currently, Nevada Community Foundation houses more than 150 charitable funds with over $130 million in assets, and meets all national standards from the Council on Foundations. We work with community leaders and strategic partners on initiatives to achieve systemic change surrounding the issues our community faces. Community foundations go beyond simply making grants that advance charitable activities. We also identify current and emerging issues, channel resources to address key needs and prepare for the future. NCF is a catalyst for community improvement, a trustee of community resources and a champion for effective, impactful investment.”
